Adams has held the seat since winning election in 1992 and serves as Vice-Chair of the Agriculture and Small Business Committee.  “I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the citizens of our community and to represent their values in Frankfort,” says Rep. Adams.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Explosive growth in many Northern Kentucky communities has caused a shift in House District boundaries.  The 61st House District will continue to encompass Grant and Owen Counties, as well as several precincts in Southern Kenton County.  “Southern Kenton County is very similar to Grant County with its rural farm areas and small suburban communities,” says Adams.  “I look forward to getting out and meeting the citizens in Kenton County and listening to their needs and concerns.”</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Rep. Royce Adams is an Army veteran and has worked as a farmer and small business owner for his entire career.  Considered a conservative, pro-life, pro-gun rights legislator, he has also been active in the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, The Bluegrass Morgan Horse Association and The National Federation of Independent Businesses.  Adams serves as Chair of the BR Subcommittee on General Government, Finance and Public Protection and also serves on the Appropriations &amp; Revenue, Tourism Development &amp; Energy and Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Safety Committees.
